Delete your account

You can request deletion of your Game Magnet account and associated personal data here, without reinstalling the app.

Request deletion by email

Send a request to our monitored inbox. Include the email used for Game Magnet sign-in and whether you used Google or Apple. Your user tag is optional and is not proof of account ownership. If Apple supplied a private relay address, include it if available, or tell us you used Hide My Email.

Email a deletion request

This opens your email app; you must send the email to submit the request. If the button does not work, email kundan.s.p.1599@gmail.com with the subject “Game Magnet account and data deletion request”. Do not send passwords, sign-in codes or payment-card details.

We will verify ownership before acting and respond with the next steps, expected completion time and any data that cannot be removed. You can also request access, correction or deletion of specific data without requesting full account deletion.

In the app

Open Game Magnet, go to Profile, then tap Delete account. You will be asked to confirm it is you with Apple or Google before the account is removed. Deletion cannot be undone once confirmed. You can also use the email request above if you cannot open the app.

What is removed, and what remains

Removed after a verified request: your Game Magnet Firebase Authentication account; the Firestore profile (name, email, tag, liked/saved IDs); library shelves and notes; FCM device tokens and notification logs we hold for that account; your profile photo in Storage; the reserved user tag; and Spotlight listings submitted under that account.
This device: cached local captures and preferences may remain until you clear Game Magnet’s app data or uninstall. Deleting the account is different from uninstalling.
Other devices: cached local preferences may remain until you clear their app data.
Independent platform accounts: your Google/Apple account and store billing records are not deleted by Game Magnet.
Spotlight purchase records are kept as required for accounting and tax purposes.
Operational logs: hosting and authentication logs are separate from your profile. Contact us for an associated-data request; see the retention policy.
